It might be possible to catalyse some discussions here... so I'd like to describe a suprising phonomenon of that has been fascinating me for some time now... the phonomenon of decency.
I've noticed that the people in the real world with whom I come into actual direct personal contact are exactly as decent as I am... and even if they are not... they treat me as if they were.
What seeing this has done is to render moot any excuse for blaming others. Because to the exact extent that something is wrong... it is wrong with me. So the onus is on me to set the moral tone of the world around me with which I come into actual direct personal contact.
